1) right from JRBrown himself (thanks lisa) That the Witnesses, the Society are not the only
* JWs are BIBLE STUDENTS only. The Governing Body is NOT SPIRIT INSPIRED.
* JWS as a whole are NOT INSPIRED
* JWs are not the ONLY spokesperson organization of God on earth
* THERE IS NO SPECIAL LINE TO GOD that the JW church has (I shit you not)
* IS the JW a doomsday cult? No, because the word "doomsday" to them means only the end of wickedness. We are in the last days as seen in fulfillment of Bible prophecy regarding the signs.
* Is there a PREDICTION of when the last days would end in a holocaust/Armegeddon etc. Is there insider knowledge of the END? NO THERE IS NOT
* And I quote "We have zealously thought we would have more info by now about the exact time of the end but we don't" Follow up question--so there is no direct communication between God and the JWs on this matter? Correct.
* The organization exists only to see the Good news proclaimed of God's kingdom which is made up of Chosen Rulers who are in heaven. The JWs will be subjects of that kingdom.
2) from the Cayman News this morning: HEADLINE: No such thing as 'Watchtower' teachings there is no such thing as "Watch Tower" teachings. If he had done his research he would know that he was discussing the teachings of a religious organization called Jehovah's Witnesses, not one of their publishing corporations called the Watchtower. They are two different entities: one is religious and the other is a publishing entity.

Dear Sir:
When I read Mark's comments (The Watch Towers teachings are convoluted), I remember when I was not a Witness and felt the same way.
Although Mark does not have a complete view of our understanding of the Bible, I will assume he is sincere. I know I was sincere when I thought the Witnesses were a cult. Mark does not even know that there is no such thing as "Watch Tower" teachings. If he had done his research he would know that he was discussing the teachings of a religious organization called Jehovah's Witnesses, not one of their publishing corporations called the Watchtower. They are two different entities: one is religious and the other is a publishing entity.
Most Jehovah's Witnesses are not members of the Watchtower Society but they are members of a religious organ called "Jehovah's Witnesses." But Mark's error is common;
I once was part of that movement so against the Witnesses I did not even know who they were. Mark should be forgiven.
Now to the issue: I am inviting Mark to contact me and to discuss each of the issues that he has raised. I am ready.

i was yet the latest victim of the runaway train that is the wt.
my wife joined the wt and i was surrounded by drones doing their level headed best to consume my family while i am at work paying for it all.

They teach them to read because its their whole way of indoctrination, control and manipulation. Why wouldn't they?

whether you believe in the trinity concept or not - one thing is for sure, the FDS (hehe) at the WT can be seen as actually defending the possibility by its undeniably dishonest approach.
the question is, if JW ministers are teaching what they call the truth, why must they do it dishonestly?
god's supposedly only channel on earth today surely could come up with a less embarassing approach.
